I am an engineering leader with more than three decades of experience helping organizations build secure, reliable, and highly available infrastructure.

During my career I have led engineering teams supporting enterprise middleware, Linux infrastructure, and cloud platforms. My most recent role was as a Systems Development Manager at Amazon Web Services, where I led managers and engineers responsible for operating Amazon RDS and related database services within highly secure, air-gapped AWS regions supporting U.S. government customers.

Throughout my career I've focused on operational excellence, mentoring engineering leaders, improving organizational effectiveness, and building teams capable of operating mission-critical services at scale.

Today I'm interested in advisory, consulting, and senior engineering leadership opportunities where experience, practical leadership, and operational discipline can help organizations grow.
