Dry Falls is a huge cliff formation in central Washington created by the ancient Missoula Floods.
While no water currently flows over the falls, the scale is enormous and gives a sense of the massive forces that once shaped the region.
At one point, Dry Falls was estimated to be far larger than modern-day Niagara Falls.
