Jakob Two Trees – Issaquah

📍 Location: Issaquah, Washington
📂 Type: Activity

Why we went:
Part of the PNW troll series and a good excuse to explore Issaquah and nearby outdoor areas.

What it is:
A large wooden troll sculpture by Thomas Dambo, built from reclaimed materials and set within a more natural, wooded environment.

Experience:

  • Short walk to reach the troll
  • More of an outdoor/nature setting
  • Feels slightly more like a destination than city-based trolls

👍 What we liked:

  • Scenic surroundings
  • Feels more immersive than urban locations
  • Good mix of activity + nature

👎 What we didn’t:

  • Still a relatively short visit
  • May require a bit more planning than city stops

💡 Tips:

  • Wear comfortable shoes
  • Combine with a hike or time in Issaquah
  • Check directions ahead of time

👥 Who This Is For

  • Couples
  • Light outdoor activities
  • People looking for a slightly more scenic stop

🏁 Verdict: WORTH-IT 🔵

“A more scenic troll stop—worth the trip if you’re in the area or pairing with other outdoor plans.”
