Waterfalls
An 88-foot waterfall hidden just off the Mount Baker Highway, Nooksack Falls is the perfect Washington roadside stop. The walk is barely a tenth of a mile, but the payoff is a roaring waterfall, a deep forested canyon, and one more reason to slow down and explore the road less traveled.
Hikes
Just outside Winthrop, Falls Creek Falls delivers a surprisingly big waterfall experience with very little effort. Whether you’re looking for a quick quarter-mile walk to the lower falls or a longer hike to explore the upper cascades, this is a beautiful stop in Washington’s Methow Valley.
