Part of the Pacific Northwest troll series and a good reason to explore Vashon Island—adds a unique stop to a relaxed island day trip.
What it is:
A large wooden troll sculpture by artist Thomas Dambo, built from reclaimed materials. Oscar the Bird King is surrounded by birdhouses and natural elements, fitting into a quiet, forested setting.
Experience:
- Short walk to reach the troll
- Peaceful, wooded environment
- Fun details with the birdhouse theme
- Easy to combine with other Vashon stops
